An East London Palestine Solidarity Archive
An East London Palestine Solidarity Archive is an ongoing photographic archive of acts of solidarity with Palestine across East London, photographed since October 2023.
The archive records hundreds of gestures — from protest and community action to quieter, everyday expressions of support on homes, shops, canal boats, estates and streets.
It is rooted in Tower Hamlets, Hackney, Newham and Redbridge, places that carry long histories of migration, anti-fascist organising and political expression in shared space.
The work emphasises accumulation over spectacle. Rather than singular dramatic moments, it shows how repeated, ordinary acts of solidarity build meaning and reshape public space over time — from the ground up, in tension with the forces that shape the city from above.
