This exhibition presents an ongoing photographic archive of acts of solidarity with Palestine across East London.
Photographed over the past two years, the work records hundreds of gestures — from protest and community action to quieter, everyday expressions of support on homes, shops and people.
The work reflects the gap between widespread public support for Palestine and the positions taken by political and institutional power.
Emphasising accumulation rather than spectacle, the archive shows how repeated, everyday gestures build meaning and alter public space over time. Public space is continually reshaped from the ground up through acts of community, refusal and solidarity, in tension with the forces that shape the city from the top down.
Together, the images depict East London as a complex, lived-in place, resisting simplified narratives about its communities.
Selected images are available through a fundraising print sale supporting Medical Aid for Palestine.
